Everyone is equal, no
matter their differences or disabilities, whether you belong to upper or lower
bracket of society, ugly or beautiful or regardless of gender and religion, we
are created equal by God. Each citizen in a respective society should be
treated in a fair way. A fair society refers to any society where a principle
of distributive justice has been agreed, and thereafter enforced. It sees each
of its members as a full citizen with a life of their own. It is organized to
support everyone to live a full life, with meaning and respect.
What are the
responsibilities and duties of the leaders of a society? Leaders of different society establish rules or laws that should be abided by the citizens. These
ordinances are made to avoid any misbehaviors or illegal acts. It is also for
the sake of the citizens and for the betterment of an institution. Leaders also
should serve their fellow citizens in a proper and equal way. They shouldn’t
forbid them from their rights. Their fellow citizens should not be treated as
“slaves” or a “burden” to a society. Town governors should always make sure
that their town members fulfills their rights and privileges. They should also
help people who lives in a destitute way. It’s their responsibilities to give
the needs of their people who were born in poverty. In our country, we have
unfair society. One specific example of this is unfair justice system. It usually
occurs for those people who have no wealth and uneducated. They are easily
convicted to a crime that is not yet proven. You will rot in prison because you
cannot afford to hire a lawyer. Unlike rich people, even though they are guilty
to a crime, they can easily escape from it because of their money or
connection.
I believe, town
leaders of a society should look at their people in an equal way and with
respect. On the other hand, the people of the society also has a job to do as a
true citizen. They should follow the rules and abide the laws of their
respective society. All citizens should always respect their leaders and vice
versa. A fair society is free from wrong doings an unfair treatment. With
respect and cooperation of leaders and citizens, they can achieve a healthy
society. In order to have this kind of society, it should have unity and peace.
